No previous dance experience is necessary. Grab a friend and come sweat with us! Teaches musicality, expression and style. Students will learn some of the basic moves of poppin, locking and break dancing through an energetic and fast pace class. Includes a warm up, combinations and routines to popular (age appropriate) hip hop music. Students are encouraged to experiment with free style dance and to develop their own unique style and personality.

A beautiful genre of dance that blends ballet and jazz technique through storytelling with movement. A great start for young dancers to develop skills necessary for Contemporary dance. Ballet experience is preferred but not required.
Lyrical I (45 minutes) Ages 6-9
Lyrical II (60 minutes) Ages 10+
Contemporary (Ages 12+)
Contemporary is a theatrical style with focus on elements such as contact-release, fall-recovery and improvisation. Choreography focuses on variable rhythms, speed and directions and manipulates the shape of the body in non-traditional ways. Ballet experience is preferred but not required.
We're looking to build a strong program here in Chelan! Tap cannot die. The class will begin with a lengthy tap warm up that emphasizes the key skills and muscles groups needed for tap. Students will then learn and review key steps center floor and then utilize these skills in short combinations center or across the floor.
Tap I (45 minutes) Ages 6-9
Tap II/III (60 minutes) Ages 10+
A foundational genre of dance with focus on isolations, rhythm and style. Classes will start with a fast paced warm up, followed by a variety of across the floor moves and combinations. When dancers develop specific skills they will be incorporated into longer combinations or routines.
Jazz I (45 minutes) Ages 6-9
Jazz II/III (60 minutes) Ages 10+
Combination (Ages 4-6)
This class is designed as an introduction to tap, ballet and jazz for our younger students. The idea is that your child will dance in this class to help him/her choose a discipline; ballet, tap and/or jazz, that they enjoy. Students will begin with a ballet warm up and an introduction of the basic and foundational ballet skills. Then we'll move into a lively jazz class complete with center and across floor exercises. Finally, students will change into tap shoes and participate in center and across floor exercises.
Princess (Prince) Ballet (Age 3-5)
Each week your child will hop, skip and twirl through an imaginary adventure. This class is designed for young children and is an introduction to dance. Students will explore movement through a variety of gross motor skill activities. They will learn basic ballet positions, play games that focus on dance skills, stretch, and learn how to move across the floor. Students DO NOT need to be self-sufficient in the bathroom but a parent must be present to diaper if necessary.
Ballet I, II & III
Ballet is the foundation of dance. Ballet training helps to develop proper body alignment and placement through stationary positions and movement through space. Dancers will gain discipline, strength and flexibility through various combinations including work at the barre, center floor and across the floor.

This class is designed to help our youth find their own voices with grace. Young girls, as impressionable
as they are, need to find confidence and develop teamwork skills at a young age. Our goal is to teach
these young generations that they have a voice and how to use it, to be comfortable in their own skin, to be kind and encouraging to others, how to be a good teammate, and of course, to have fun! The physical aspects of these classes will teach the girls good form for high kicks, cheers, dance, balance, basic stunts, jumps, and flexibility. The cheerleaders in these classes will be taught how to express themselves in an exciting and fun manner while building new skills and burning some of that extra
This class is like cheer but focused on precision dance routines rather than cheerleading skills. Dancers will develop physical coordination and musicality through precise dance steps and dance technique. This class will be sure to entertain build confidence and self-esteem
All Level II/III or III classes are open to adults. Even for drop in classes, you'll need an account and paid registration fee.
